Thought of the Day Quoted from daily reflection's of Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji Maharaj
THE SERCH FOR HAPPYNESS
In this world, there are three categories of people. Some are like donkeys, some resemble monkeys and some are just lucky. The donkey-type person works very hard, and tries to achieve more and more. He works to earn more money to buy a bigger house or a new car. He wants to be happy and secure in the long run. Just like a donkey that carries wine but drinks water, the donkey-type of person works hard, leaving himself no time to enjoy the present, and postponing any hopes for happiness in the future. The monkey-type of person is vivacious but constantly restless, jumping from one branch to another, searching for happiness that eludes him. A monkey never stops to reflect, but plunges from one activity to the nest. The lucky person is the one who knows how to enjoy everything and has found the key to long-lasting happiness within.
